Juan Beracochea


My goal is to give our players the tools to be successful in the classroom, on the field and in life


 

  • 10 years as Head Coach Soccer at Berkner High School
  • 2012 District 9-5A Coach of the Year
  • 1 District Championship and 2 Playoffs Appearances as Head Coach
  • 4 year College Playing Experience
  • Over 20 years playing competitive soccer
  • Played in numerous youth tournaments in Europe (Dana Cup, Gothia Cup, Helsinki Cup)
  • Member of the U16 Venezuela National Team
  • Earned District, Region and State team honors in 1996 at Duncanville High School

Coach Beracochea is married to his beautiful wife Cassidi with2 kids, Alejandro (12) and Sophie (8) who both play soccer.  He graduated from St. Mary’s University in 2000 with a Bachelors Degree in Business and Administration.  After working 5 years in the business world he made a change in career to teaching and coaching at Berkner High School.   In addition to coaching the boys soccer team he also teaches Spanish.
