- As an all-around Athlete, the former Quarterback participated in Football, Track and Baseball
- 2 MVP awards in football
- 2 major Batting titles with a .414 and .404 batting average in consecutive years in Baseball.
- In Track & Field, he was a member of the 4×1 and 4X4 while also running the open 400 and the mile (A rare combination)
- 13 Years Teaching and Coaching experience (11 Years RISD, 2 Years AD at Canyon Creek, 10 Years at BHS)
Coach Oliver has served as a District Athletic Director and also a Varsity Head Coach in 4 different sports (Football, Track, Cross Country and Golf). He holds 3 District Championships as a Head Coach (1- Football, 2- Track) and has been named Coach of the Year twice (Football 2010, Track 2016). He has over 12 years of High School coaching experience and has had the privilege of assisting or sending hundreds of student –athletes to college on Athletic Scholarships. He is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and holds an Executive MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas.
