Anne Tamporello

anne tamporelloAnne Played all three years of soccer At Berkner High School. She earned All District honors all four years while at BHS. Ms. Tamporello led her team on and off the field. Her Sophomore, Junior and Senior year, she was selected as the Richardson Newspaper’s Girls’ All City Team and was also chosen as team captain. Anne’s Sophomore year she was selected All Region. Her Senior year, she was selected as the District 9-5A MVP, All-Region and All-State player.

Tamporello played club soccer for Longhorns ‘80 in her early years. During her club career she won three North Texas State Championships, two Regional III Championships, and  After High School, Anne continued her soccer career at the Texas A&M University.  During her time at A&M , Anne was four year letter winner and was selected as the first team captain.  She also made an appearance in the Elite 8 and the Sweet Sixteen twice.  Her club team was a runner-up of the 2000 Youth Soccer Association’s National Championship.

Upon graduating from A&M in 2001, Tamporello served as an Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning at A&M.  Anne joined Duke University in 2005 where she wrote and implemented strength and conditioning programs for women’s tennis which resulted in a top 10 national finish and Big XII tournament and conference championships.  Tamporello has also trained numerous football  players that entered the NFL combine and were drafted into the league.
