On Tuesday night the Boys Soccer team traveled to Willimas Field to take on the Owls of Garland. Both team fought and played hard but unfortunately, both these games ended in losses (2-1 and 4-1), but the teams should leave the night knowing the season has just started and the team is ready to get better every game in order to be ready and compete in district96A..

Ram Basketball thanks Ram Nation for all of their support!!
The game between your Berkner Rams and the Richardson Eagles last night provided a great competitive contest for players and fans. It was another great rivalry game.
The Rams played tough and went into halftime with an early lead, but the Eagles got hot in the third quarter to take back a three point lead heading into the fourth quarter. It was another epic BHS/RHS back and forth battle for the last five minutes of the game. The Rams gave a championship effort, but just could not cool off the hot shooting Eagles before time ran out. The final score was 77-70.
Sophomore guard Misiel Teklai led the Rams with 23 points and senior guard Matthew Wilson finished with 18. Junior forward Jordan Guthrie was one rebound shy of a double-double with 10 points and 9 rebounds and sophomore swingman Micah Law added 8 points.
The Rams are back in action on Friday as they travel to Jesuit to take on the Rangers.
9th A and B will tip at 5:30 and 6:45. JV and varsity will tip at 6 and 7:30.
We hope to see you at the game!!
Good afternoon Ram Team, yesterday your Lady Rams played a tough game at Richardson High School against the Lady Eagles. Your Lady Rams started the game out strong and kept the game close going into the half down 5 points. As the game continued, turnovers and rebounding hurt the Lady Rams and were not able to gather a 4th quarter comeback but played hard. Players Of The Game were Raquel Ford who lead the team with 13 points and Lily Parker with 8 points and 8 rebounds. Assisting them were Trinity Smitherman with 7 point and N’diyah Cancel with 6 points. Your Lady Rams play Tuesday January 16th at home against the WT White Lady Longhorns (JV 5:30pm / Varsity 7pm) and we hope to see you there.
Tonight the Berkner Rams will host the crosstown rival Richardson Eagles.
Every game matters in the log jammed standings for 9-6A, the toughest basketball district in Texas, and we need your support tonight!

This past Friday January 5th your Lady Rams pulled out a victory at home against the Coppell Lady Cowgirls. Your Lady Rams trailed during the 1st and 2nd quarters and were down by 5points at the half but come out the start of the 3rd quarter with solid lock-down pressure defense to go on a 22 to 6 point run which Coppell could never recover from. Play Of The Game, Trinity Smitherman lead the team with 18 points, followed by 10 points by N’diyah Cancel, Irie Razor with 9 points and Lily Parker with 8 points. Your Lady Rams play tomorrow at Richardson High school (JV 5:30pm / Varsity 7pm) and we hope to see you there
The Freshman Green team played RHS at 7p Thursday at Eagle-Mustang Stadium. The Rams took a quick 14-0 lead with strong downhill running from running back Devin Joshua. Joshua’s performance would continue throughout the game as he was responsible for crucial yardage when the Rams needed first downs and time off of the clock. Quarterback Daniel Vallejo punched in a short touchdown as well. In the end it was the defense that made the difference for the Rams as consistent tackling by Abdulazim ‘Tank’ Abdulhakeem and an interception returned for a touchdown by Kobe Milligan pushed the Rams to a 21-14 lead and gave them a hard-fought victory.
The Freshman White team took the field against RHS at 530p Thursday. The White team had their opportunities including long runs by William Sanchez-Cruz but miscues and turnovers kept the Rams from victory.
The Freshman Green team brought a solid defensive effort to the 7p game. Coppell could not move the ball consistently with the defensive starters on the field. Gaps in special teams allowed a Coppell victory. Great effort from Devin Joshua and Jeronimo Montenegro.
